To be awarded at the 39th Annual CATESOL State Conference in Sacramento, April 10-13, 2008

Purpose: To honor Professor Eskey’s memory by recognizing accomplishments related to his professional endeavors (literacy, teacher preparation, research or practice). Submissions are encouraged in a variety of formats including books, articles, curriculum guides, etc.

Criteria:

• Strength and clarity of the project’s purpose, organization and expression

• Relevance and depth of Dr. Eskey’s influence on the project

• Preference for projects from California and Nevada

Due Date: Applications must be received on or before February 1, 2008.
