This workshop will introduce the audience to the use of corpora in the classroom, focusing on the collection of corpora for text analysis in English for academic writing classes at the university level. The workshop will have two main modules. The first module will concentrate on the different stages of corpora collection and use. The second module will include practical examples of text analysis that can be directly translated to the classroom.
